What is Q4 2026?
"Q4 results" or "Q4 2026" refers to the quarterly results for Q4 of calendar year 2026 — the period October–December 2026. The term is also commonly used for the reporting season that follows, in which most publicly listed companies publish their results for that quarter.
Not every company counts its quarters this way: companies with a deviating fiscal year label the same calendar period differently. Apple, for instance, starts its fiscal year in October — the period October–December is its fiscal quarter 1.
In the US, the SEC sets fixed deadlines: large accelerated filers must file their quarterly report (Form 10-Q) within 40 days of quarter-end, smaller companies get 45 days. In Europe, most large companies report voluntarily within a similar window, even though there is no single statutory deadline.
